And by “skins” I mean appearance of any weapon, not simply what is obtainable.
crafted looks afwul imo, except maybe the corrupted weapons that u buy recipes for.. im loving my full ascalon gear atm and the glowy weapons look great.. i think its all down to personal preference tbh.

can you give an example? this is awfully vague.
The skins I have for all my weapons are ones I have bought off the TP then transmuted to be more powerful. Most of them, imo, look far superior to pickups.

IMO the legendary and mystic skins are stupid looking and I will never use one of those skins.
“Best looking” will always be a matter of opinion.
I haven’t looked into a lot of the crafted/dungeon skins in GW2 yet but I know in GW1 I never bothered getting a lot of the rarest or most popular skins because they didn’t appeal to me. I have a whole bunch of Destroyer weapons I got for the HoM and never used or stuck on heroes because I didn’t like the skins.
In a way you could count yourself lucky if you prefer the drops because it could save you a lot of time and money.
