Guild Wars 2

Well for the fun of it I’ve been doing PvE now an again.

I’ve done the main story line once already with my old main, now doing it with my new main. Just doing the story The Source of Orr where you fight the Sovereign Eye.

Now is it me or have they made this fight a whole lot easier??? Maybe its cos I have better gear, but I just killed it with my healer ele, ie very low dps in like 5 mins.
My main old main was a necro and the first time I did it with that char it took me like 30+ minutes!!!

Was kindda looking forward to nice long fight for it to be over in minutes!

It seems a lot easier to me now, as well. My first two characters (back in the first couple of months after launch) had a much harder time than my most recent ones. I think they greatly reduced his health pool, as well as some other things.

30 minutes? Never had any PS fight take that long. Been doing the PS starting from release off and on periodically.

However the Eye’s difficulty did get reduced or at least it became less of a HP sponge. The beam attack also seems to have a greater tendency to target Trahearne instead.
