I accidentally bought a stack of an item only needed one of, no idea how, no confirmation, all of a sudden im out 11 gold. Compare this to any other trading sim or real trading software I use and its objectively horrible even compared to F2P mmo systems. To compound the insult I get taxed to redeem the cost of a mistake due to sloppy design. Fortunately I have decent amount of gold, doesnt change or excuse the sloppy UI. It needs confirmations if its going to have very strange input methods.

EDIT: one other issue, the search engine for TP is worthless. I typed in the name of a rune yesterday and got totally unrelated results.

Personally, I get annoyed that my filters resets whenever I Change major search tabs.
That and the fact that whenever I try to order something where the max buy and min sale offer is 1 copper apart, I had to manually buy out the avaliable stock before being able to list it at that price.

Every time someone shares a story about purchasing 250 of an item instead of 1, I wonder how many times they clicked the window at random before hitting “Buy” to confirm that they wanted what they just chose via the interface.

Edit: I’ll be honest. I want to see less “Are you absolutely sure you want to do what you just told me you want to do” user interface safeguards in the game. Salvaging rares takes way longer than it should because of that hand-holding.

Mixing insults with your post is like pooping in a salad.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.

I agree somewhat that the TP has poor design in places, but also agree with Softspoken- I don’t want more “are you sure” boxes either; there comes a point where the “Warning” effects wears off and you’ll click on “confirm” without even thinking about it.

The main thing that annoys me is that I could be typing in quantity (140 for example) and jog my mouse so that it moves to the price area- not the actual box, but the area around it. It will then start writing in price (so it becomes easy to write 140g or similar).

Turn down the sensitivity of your mouse then. I never have that happen. The worse is not noticing that one copper higher than the top bid puts me in the seller list so my order for 250 selects multiple sellers at way above the amount I was planning to bid at.

Never had a mouse over the price with a loose mouse wheel problem either.

Even with my case it’s a PEBCAK problem. If you are going to spend your pretend money, pay attention before you press OK.

We need a way to select and sell multiple items at once. Selling them one by one is just frustrating.

OMG this!!!!! There are several issues with the TP UI, and in my opinion this is just one, but the most major one. There is lag, which often causes me to over or under price stuff, or overpay. The up and down arrows are WAY too small, so they’re hard to get right at all, especially for someone like me… I have a bit of a hand tremor. It makes me irratated. There have definitely been improvements. But there could be more.

I miss being able to put a buy order for whatever quantity regardless as to whether there is a sell order for that price and vice versa.

I’m pleased I’m not the only one with this problem. Rest assured that it isn’t just down to your tremor though- I have problems without a tremor and with pretty slow mouse speed. I find it very odd how the “hit boxes” for these two options are completely adjacent and that moving your mouse from one to the other changes priority even if you had left clicked to start typing.

The up/down arrows are a pain, I agree- I’ve now adapted to use the mousewheel for small and precise quantity changing.

I have had a couple of problems when placing orders for the “buy now” or “bid” options. Occasionally I mess up (or perhaps it messes up) and chooses the wrong one, but it doesn’t happen often enough for me to pinpoint the cause of the issue.

Ah yes, this. Thank god we can’t actually list buy offers above min sale offers, otherwise I’d have lost all my gold due to this. (lost plenty of gold due to this though)
I’ve since made it a policy to always keep track of my cursor when I’m buying large quantities of items, or when i’m entering numbers in general.

I’d love it if we need to actually ‘click’ on a value box before we can enter any values.
