Question: The crystals that are purchased from Miyanni near the mystic forge…are they now not soulbound, and rather account bound and in the wallet? Or are they still in the bank.

I’ve been about to say this.. but then I’ve saw the laurel ammount. I have only 11 now

In gw2hub, the screenshot have 950 kk of karma. convert in gold make a legendary actually xD.

Up until a week or so ago, I had around 120 laurels.

Just have no urge to spend them. Not dropping 30 or 40 laurels + 50 ectos on gear… I COULD buy some rare gear and salvage, or unid dies and sell or try my luck for some good colors. But Im holding out in the hopes that arenanet throws some good stuff in there.

Two things:

1. Fractal Relics can be used to buy an item that replaces the relic in the Mystic Forge recipe.

2. You can still mail gold to your friends.

It is account bound in the sense that all characters on your account have access to it. Once you send it to someone else it leaves your account and joins theirs.

Then that’s indeed a bug, they said that it’s supposed to still be achievable, maybe when you get a little more gold it’ll recalculate? Otherwise I’m sure they’ll fix it.

They didn’t say it was account bound, they said it was shared across all the characters on your account.

Karma being account wide is really nice for me personally! Was always hoping for that.

Good luck on the legendary journey my friend. I personally out-right refuse to give a player hundreds of gold for any reason (unless I find a precursor I dont want, sell that and buy the one I do want at no expense to me). I’ll either find my precursor out of RNG, scavenger hunt, or never.

Ive made my peace with that.

Correction – it does update, there’s some weird delay on it though (usually you need to logout, but sometimes it doesn’t work, and sometimes it updates even if you didn’t relog).

Not surprised at this. It probably has some sort of delayed commit on the database. Perhaps limiting the transactions ran simply due to the large amount of input. HoM updates were similarly delayed between adding it to the physical HoM and being able to view the update on the website calculator, you needed to log out and back in for things to tally.

I love the new wallet. It just makes sense to be able to share gold/karma/dungeon rewards among all your characters. It saves from the game becoming more grindy, IMO. Having to go to a bank every time to share money/karma was a pain. Thank you for this Anet! Now we just need more town clothes to choose from. Seriously. The town clothes might as well be abolished altogether they are SO UGLY.

Just hold 200 gold in your wallet. They actually made it easier.

Been waiting for account-wide pool like this so I could stop running to the bank [insert number of characters here] times to rotate currency.

It’s about time. Thanks a lot, Devs – this makes things a lot easier for those of us with an Alt Fetish.

I am especially loving the karma pool. I have 8 level 80s, all who had karma but most only 20-30k (those darn Orrian boxes). Now merged I have over 1 million karma. And I was able to drink my over 100 karma jugs instead of saving them in case I needed the karma on one of them.

It was very hard to find place for all those badges of honor. It’s nice now.
