With everything going on of lately in beloved GW2, there are times of pale sadness while waiting for the future of this amazing game to be decided by a no less amazing team.
Still, the qualities of the game are still there, and sometimes i find myself looking at some beautiful scenarios and amazing little details that are found by the hundreds in this game.
But, now and then, this gets elevated to art.
While doing some FotMs dungeons i got a random group of good players but with a nice change of pace for me: they like to stop at every mob group and just look at everything that it is going on. I must say this: im am glad they gave me the chance to do that.
For the last 2 fracs i got Cliffside and Snowblind and i was…mesmerized. Beauty, pacing, entertaining, fun, perfect. Eveything about it, light, orientation, scale, was art.
I send a big thanks to ANet for giving me one of my best moments in gaming.
And my wish for this x-mas is: i wish everything in GW2 could be like that. Perfect.
Well I agree, some of the fractal dungeons are amazing. I look forward to some cool looking Christmas dungeons.
i wish they would make a new zone thats at night and looks alot like that dark wooded area in snowblind in it. walking through that is really awesome. or maybe make the night time in all zones that dark.

The artistic scope in this game, and even the loading screens is phenomenal, and I do hope the artists responsible get the praise they deserve.

That would be a great improvement for the new area. Fills a bit like a summer camp for such a dangerous zone :P
I love the art in the game. I hope we see more upper level zones that are more like Queensdale. I’d like to get back to my characters beginnings and have to deal with things closer to my home.
