I got a green lvl 80 rebreather from a cursed shore karma agent.

Someone told me that was best one currently, which i’m unsure if that’s correct, because it seems strange as its only a green.

If there isn’t any better, they should make the next ascended item a rebreather because it would have huge stat bonus over current one. Everyone would strive to gain the difference in stats between a green and ascended lvl stats.

It wouldn’t effect wvw to much either since i’ve only seen a few underwater battles, pretty rare occurance.

What do you think?

Correction. They need to allow us to be able to craft rebreathers.

How do you craft them? there should be yellows available through crafting or is this the one item they left out of crafting?

You can only get lvl 80 rebreathers from that one karma vendor in cursed shore. There’s no way to craft a rebreather at all, and they highest you can get is a masterwork (green).

I’m sure they’ll add them eventually.

I dont’ know. I wouldn’t personally use some of my precious laurels to get an item only for underwater combat. And since rebreathers act as helm, an ascended rebreather would suppose you could get ascended terrestial helm i.e. ascended armor gear.

I actually use the L79 light armor breather because it has PTV stats. I only (rarely) use the L80 one with my beserker set for the added precision.

I am using the one from Kessek Hills… hmm might need to head out to the Cursed Shore tomorrow I think.
