The flaws of GW 2 begins to show
Birds of a feather flock together.
How about you report the bug, and hope for the best? Yes, these things happen, and yes, it really sucks. There isn’t a whole lot you can do outside of reporting it, and assume worse case scenario; you won’t see the gold again. Complaining and threatening theft is not the way to do it. You report it, so that it can be fixed, and continue on, knowing you’ve done something to help improve the game. I wouldn’t be suprised if A-net banned you on principle for threatening theft.
I would ban you right now if I could. You don’t dispute charges just because you’re mad… lawl.
If this is what I think it is, you’ll see your gold come back eventually. ANet keeps a record of every TP transaction.

good. im GLAD.
well according to the fair credit act, i just bought a very buggy piece of sofware. so i woudnt call it thief. on the other hand, the gold i lost do have real money value attached to them by the gem market. And the game just took it from me for no reason, now that is thief. be honest, how many days was it that this software is not bugged/crash …..
All I read was a little school girl crying. What steps have you taken to try and resolve the issue? Have you at least reported this bug? I can understand your frustration losing in game currency but ranting without any evidence that you’ve at least attempted to resolve the issue makes me wonder if mommy is still dressing you in the morning.
i sent them another bug report, but i dont think i will hear from them cuz this is not the first time i sent in a bug report (and nothing) and according to what i’ve read on the net, they dont restore the lost gold.

You must have skipped my post then, because I know from experience that this is wrong.

Look, you aren’t going to win this. Not like this. You bought the game, lets round it to a static Sixty bucks. You purchased your right to play the game. You realised, buying it, that it’s an online, and ever changing piece of software. Do you know what happens when you buy something that changes? Heres a little scenario for you, a bit blunt, but should send the picture.
Grab a hammer. Grab a nail. Put the nail on a wall, put your thumb on the head of the nail, now hit the hammer on the nail, with your thumb inbetween.
Hurt, didn’t it? But you got the nail in the wall. Now, imagine someone coming up to you, and telling you that what you just did wasn’t right, and that it was their fault for not telling you, when you bought the hammer and nail, They aren’t able to help you with your thumb, but they teach you how to hammer in a nail properly. They fix it.
This might be an over stretched analogy, but in basis, TPs are the nail, your gold is the hammer, and the glitch is the thumb. You hit the glitch, but you still got to your destination.
There may be a chance your gold will come back.
But if you punch the guy out, despite him doing his best to help you, he’s not going to even give you ice for your thumb, as he was planning to.
Don’t punch A-net. You may have bought the game, but that dosen’t entitle you to anything more then another. Glitches happen. They are sorry that it happens, they are a buisness. It’s their job to fix these things. If it’s possible, they’ll restore your gold to you. But threatening to steal from them isn’t going to do it. They can take legal action.
tp bug?
what happened?

This anology would fit better in this scenario
I buy a car, someone crashes into my car, while Im parked the way I should be parked so it’s my fault for buying a car?
more like, u buy the car, turn it on (use it the way it meant to be) then it falls apart, who is at fault?
the user’s fault for using it, or the manufacturer’s fault.
I really like this game, it is the best game i played since 2003, but it just doesn’t work most of the time.
In the event that I’ve had it with arena net and choose dispute the charges, it is not stealing from them, it would be just me returning the merchandise because I am not satisfied with it, and it is of low quality.
bugs i experienced so far:
ddid a very very long story quest, reach the destination and nothing happen at all. fine no prob, reported the glitch with screen shot attached that i was on the destination hoping they would just clear the quest for me. no response from them. redo it a few days later and it work. Suck for me, but it was minor.
later, get in an underwater lv 65 or 70 ish story quest, and simply can’t interest with anything. submit bug report, no response at all
now i lost all my gold and submitted a report, I really doubt i will get any response at all. I really enjoy the game, but it is arenanet that irritates me.

I had a reply. It got deleted. I’m sad now.
Ironic…
Anyways. What I would of said in basic was this;
If you report it, you’ve done all you can. You have a right to be mad, just don’t think that justifies theft.
If other’s have experienced this, and reported it, it will be taken care of soon.
If others haven’t, it will take a while.
Have patience.
well according to the fair credit act
You are one that likes to spout out terms to make it seem like you know what you are talking about, but don’t actually aren’t you?
The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) is a United States federal law (codified at 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.) that regulates the collection, dissemination, and use of consumer information, including consumer credit information.1 (Full Statute (PDF).) Along with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), it forms the base of consumer credit rights in the United States. It was originally passed in 1970,2 and is enforced by the US Federal Trade Commission and private litigants.
The fair credit act is about protecting consumers from unfair credit report claims, and privacy.

So, let me see if I got this straight, you lost in game currency due to a bug this very day. The problem has not been solved. Do you understand that bug fixes and player reimbursement do not work within minutes or even hours all the time? Apart from that, your understanding of the law is about the level a kid would have. Go on, withdraw your 60 $,, I´d like to see you paying extra fees, maybe you can learn something from that.
