Guild Wars 2

A net has not shown the legendary armor set yet that many have already started working to earn. I am willing to bet they have done this so they can continue to work on the armor (it may not even be designed yet) since it is impossible for any player to have completed the whole collection already. So I was curious to hear the communities ideas as to what they think it might look like. Or what they want it to look like. I personally wouldn’t mind if it didn’t look like anything at all. Although legendary armor will only be owned by the top 1% style has always been a huge part of guild wars and I would hate one set of armor to top all others making it in turn repetitive to see especially for the owner who would feel obligated to use it. Plus any special effects added will start clashing with othersome already in the game making it a mess to look at. Instead I would want legendary armor to look like any other armor in the game with the ability to change without the use of transmutation charges. As I said style is a huge part of guild wars and it would be awesome to change your look everyday as you feel for free. What are your opinions? I would love to hear them, and who knows maybe a net isales watching and they will like one of our ideas (fingers crossed)

Well yeah, they’re gonna add the whole collection over 3 raid wings and THEN we’ll be able to make the legendary armor set, thats quite nice, makes it so that you have to complete the entire raid, and have time to actually do it in a good phase. My guild is currently on Sabetha, we dont have a set 10 man group and swap between players, seeing as Sabetha only needs to be killed once thats really good for smaller guilds ((Especially when you realize you have to kill gorseval 5 times and get 10 ectoplasmic thingies from the spirit wood aswell))

Besides, this is a nice thing to look forward to, considering that this means that you need to complete a whole raid to finish legendary armor, not just 1 wing and get 2 parts! ^^

Anet knows since launch that the look i have on my main, is simply the best one in game.
At some point, when Anet has to release the armor and realizes that it doesnt have a good design yet, they will just copy/paste my looks and add some floating skittles that will orbit around it for fluff.
