One thing genuinely confuses me about the decisions behind armor creation. With every new set of stats that comes out there’s not really a large logical proposition behind them. For instance in the 4 stats there’s no condition damage + concentration. This makes sense at first when you think “oh, but expertise and condition damage go together!” but it turns out that expertise is the only thing that goes with condition damage but boon duration goes with … boons. All of them. As if those who run condition builds don’t use boons.

Because apparently they don’t. Only power driven builds want boons. Or something. I’ll never understand why almost all of the “correcting” entries are super late instead of just thought of; why would anyone, and I mean anyone want new and improved nomad’s armor now with concentration!

I don’t even think a playtester would want to endure that. :/

Well on my condition characters the efficient functioning of conditions is my main issue, the duration of boons is something I find less interesting then toughness or power (depending on the field of play) might could be nice , but a boon lengthened bountiful sharp, +20% boon, might on crit PS/EA warrior is much better at it then me using a sigil of strength…

(I could see your suggestion work on engineer, but if you’s have expertise, condition dmg and concentration what would you want as 4th stat? healing? toughness? power? precision?

Oh and I use the new and improved Nomads armor, it works wonders on my armor on my guardian (I use clerics for trinkets & weapons (transference and endurance or stamina) and 3 pieces of Minstrels armor (other still clerics) with Monk runes

This combined with Bountiful sharps and Delicious riceballs is my support build.
+35% boon duration on warhammer/ MAce/Focus or +55% on staff.
+10% outgoing healing 3 times… (monk, transference, riceballs) for a lot of healing
1789 healing power, 1997 toughness, 1841 power and 1141 vitality

You can facetank the vulcanic shaman endboss with 4 zerks as long as you mind your own conditions. No need tro range, no need to dodge except the single attacks directly after him been removed from invulnerability, Works up to 63 without any problems, still waiting to make more armor to add more AR.
Changing the stability shout to WoR (wall of reflect) will help a lot above 50.

It’s not my main as you can imagine.

23 lvl 80’s, 9 times map, 4ele, 4ncr, 3war, 3grd, 3rgr, 2thf, 2msm, 1eng, 1 rev.
Been There, Done That & Will do it again…except maybe world completion.
