The most legendary Legendary.
The Moot. It’s a disco ball, what’s not to love!!! The reflections from it are just stunning as well. Very nice skin
I also like flameseekers prophecies and the underwater spear for their animations. It’s just a shame there’s so little UW stuff to motivate me to get the spear
Frostfang is my favorite model. The Greatswords are good too.
I cannot stand The Moot or either bow. Grind a year for a unicorn or a disco ball? No thank you.
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
The Flameseeker Prophecies is my absolute favorite.
A glorious looking shield for a Guardian, which is my main character, the colors look right, and it harkens back to GW1.
Overall it has that great combination of things to make it a truly legendary weapon.
The moot or The Dreamer
While I love unicorns, I think that the moot still wins my heart because it has more effects on it. Now if only I had a character that could use it.
The most legendary Legendary is Eternity for me because of the simple fact that it requires two Legendaries (Sunrise and Twilight) to be created. In fact I would go as far to say that it deserves a weapon rarity tier all to its own (God-Forged maybe?) along with additional player character effects. (Perhaps twilight-demon wings and Sunrise-angel wings?)
Anyone who crafts both Twilight and Sunrise and forges Eternity is truly Legendary.

Don’t listen to this guy, it is a total ripoff at its current form, and I’ll personally laugh my heart out at you if you’ll ping it in chat.
As for the weapon imo, Either Sunrise or Twilight.
Their effects hold great par to the other legendaries, almost erotic.
None of them. Because none of them have a story.
Per Merriam-Webster:
Legendary: “of, relating to, or characteristic of legend or a legend”
Legend: “a story coming down from the past; especially : one popularly regarded as historical although not verifiable”
None of them. Because none of them have a story.
Per Merriam-Webster:
Legendary: “of, relating to, or characteristic of legend or a legend”

Some people just want to watch the world burn.

Some people write their own story, some people don’t have the imagination required for that. The Moot, all the way.
The “Admin Sword”.
The skin is invisible to all but the most elevated players, the effects are often permanent, those that hold it sit in the shadows, stealthed, wielding great power.
A true legendary weapon far above any that can be obtained through simple forging.
Whichever one requires the most grind.
None of them. Because none of them have a story.

Haha great post.
Kudzu, because it’s the only legendary that has an actual effect on your opponent. Whenever you shoot an enemy with it, they begin to grow flowers/plants from their bodies.
No one likes Incinerators
It’s pretty objective that some Legendaries had a lot of thought put into their effects (Juggernaut, Greatswords) and are “Legendary effects” regardless of if you like them, whereas some were not as invested in (Minstrel, Howler, Kraitkin, so on so forth).
Fortunately, they are rectifying this issue with updates such as the past ones that add effects.
For me, even though I don’t like it. the most “Legendary” is the Juggernaut as it effects your whole player rather than just leaving footprints or a sound effect.
“Dear ANet, nerf Paper, Scissors is fine. Sincerely, Rock”
Elysaurus | Warrior | [LOL] | League of the Legendary | Gandara (EU)
Bolt.
The aura, the sounds, and the death animations (spasms from electrocution).
Nuff said.
Resident Thief
Kraitkin. Because it is an underwater legendary. Only the people who truly appreciate it will craft it. Personally I think the greatswords are so overdone by now it’s ridiculous.
Though all of them really need a story behind them. They need to be something more than just a purple name and fancy particle effects and immense grind.
Bifrost. It’s a kittening rainbow bridge in staff form. Shooting rainbows.
Vayra – Elementalist
Forkrul Assail – Mesmer
None of them. Because none of them have a story.

1+, I just laugh at games now when they slap on the “legendary” brand without ever trying to attempt writing a story for it. Look at the Ashbringer, Sohothin & Magdaer, Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker, Excalibur… I’m just gonna stop there..
None, yes really none are legendary…
Here is what i would call legendary

for now there’s only one legendary that looks truly legendary in my opinion, the harpoon gun. Everything else looks like generic shiny crap.
The most legendary legendary is not even a legendary. How many people have you ever seen with a Wings of Dwayna?
I absolutely love the way Kraitkin looks. I know underwater weapons aren’t in fashion because you can’t stand around in LA and show off, but seriously….EELS! It has eels! They animation is awesome!

maybe in 1996
yeah all the legendary look cool, but which one sounds cool?
QUIP
Kudzu.
Looks perfect on my green sylvary ranger. too much birds in the sound aspect, but cool enought
There is only ONE Legendary with LORE behind it, and that is The Flameseeker Prophecies.
The Flameseeker Prophecies was the big mission and storyline you followed in original Guild Wars in Kryta.
Also, The Flameseeker Prophecies is the only Legendary which got a text explaning it on the wiki.
The Flameseeker Prophecies is a shield containing motifs along the edges and an excerpt in New Krytan of the Flameseeker Prophecies. The prophecies, compiled by Glint, foretold most of the events of ‘’Guild Wars Prophecies’’, from the fall of Ascalon to the unleashing of the titans.
Therefore, The Flameseeker Prophecies is the most Legendary weapon in the game, because it also got a story behind it.
All the other Legendaries only got a text like-
xxxx is a Legendary crafted in the Mystic Forge

idk…as a person going for two incenerators for my thief….
i honestly don’t know if i am going to continue doing it….sometimes the precursor looks better than the legendary….and even some exotics or limited time skins are looking much cooler than the legendaries now
it they come up with cooler skins to sale…kind of makes legendaries look less sparkly….though i will agree…juggernaut will probably never get old
Kudzu- it is the ultimate Sylvari Ranger weapon
None of them. Because none of them have a story.

oh dear…these comments make me cry.
Legendary is just a name. Guess what ! A rare item isn’t actually rare either…
Oh and dragons don’t exist either man, they’re a lie just like the legendaries.
…
Jugger, greatswords, shield, staff imo
The prophecy on my legendary rifle says “Made in China”.It’s the story, isn’t it?
Also want my legendary machine gun “The Kalashnikov”.
Can I ask the thieves why they think incinerators are so cool? You know your footsteps show in stealth, right? That’s why the good thieves go for The Dreamer. No footsteps. :P

I never thought about that…that’s actually pretty funny.
Back ot: None of them…fractal weapons are more “legendary” (that terms has basically lost it’s meaning given the context) than any of them imo. They actually require doing something other than gold accumulation. Make ingredients bound so they cannot be bought and I will revert my opinion, but as it stands all I can think is tp player or cof grinder, which neither are “legendary”.
My quip has a story!
yeah all the legendary look cool, but which one sounds cool?
QUIP
God I can’t stand quip; the constant pops and squeaks its makes gives me a headache.
My quip has a story!
You stole it from a legendary clown at the carnival in Divinity’s Reach last summer?
Fojja – Vyxxi – Nymmra – Mymmra – Champion of Dwayna .. and more

kudzu, because it’s okami in bow form.
Kudzu, because it’s the only legendary that has an actual effect on your opponent. Whenever you shoot an enemy with it, they begin to grow flowers/plants from their bodies.
Interesting. Although I have to admit that doesn’t strike me as a big deal, mostly because I’ve been running around with a Flaming Dragon Sword since head-start that lights my targets on fire regardless of what sigil I use, so on-target visual effects never occurred to me.

Yeah, a few weapons have this effect. I think it has to do with the element some weapons display next to their damage, like Incinerators have 924-81 (fire) and Bolt has 905-1000 (Lightning). I guess this means that any damage you do with these weapons counts as if you’re using an elementalist’s skill of the same element, since the electrocution and burning death animations apply to them as well.
But I didn’t shoot the thackeray
