One day while exploring, I stumbled across a strange song playing inside Lion’s Arch. It was close to the Fort Marriner, but any attempt to follow its source didn’t lead to anything. It appears to only activate when you stand in a specific location. I tried moving anywhere else, and it wouldn’t start. But once started, it kept playing until it finished.

Just recently I was walking around the Order of Whisper’s hideout, and I heard the exact same song again. It really does seem to be triggered only when you stand in the right spot.

I’m going to poke around the Priory’s outpost in LA and see if they have the song play there too. I’m just wondering if anyone else ever discovered this….and I’m very curious as to what significance it may hold.

That music plays in the Main Haven Headquarters in Lion’s Arch. There’s a tavern there and it was looping into the Dragon Bash song back during the Dragon Bash event, not sure if it still does.

That’s the Dragon Bash song

Yup this is the Bash the Dragon song that was created for Dragon Bash – they probably didn’t remove the song from all areas of Lions Arch, so the music is messed up in a few places I guess xD.

I don’t think it’s “messed up”. It’s a tavern. Dragon Bash is a drinking song.

But what about the first song I found? Where is that from?

Hah! I didn’t realize the Dragon Bash song still played there. That’s brilliant.

No idea about the other song, though.

Maybe something to do with the minstrel you can sometimes find in front of the bank?

They removed him with all of the Halloween decor. He does exist in one of the outposts in Orr. I don’t think he’s related though.
