To paraphrase Monty Python:

“Five shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be five. Six shalt thou not count, neither count thou four, excepting that thou then proceed to five. Seven is right out.”

GW2 got rid of the trinity, we have scaling in open world events, auto-join teams in WvW, but still we have this archaic 5 person dungeon limit that requires pre-made groups. And a lot of kittening about and drama. How hard would it be to scale content for three to seven players?

Also, how hard would it be to implement a queue and just fill up pug groups with whoever queues up. It works for PvP in many games, it works for Starcraft, for LoL, even for Little Big Planet. It even works in real life pick up games on the school ground. Kick off the instance as soon as three players have joined. Add up to four more, up to the first checkpoint. After that start another instance, and so on. It’s not complicated, even ten-year olds can grasp the concept.

adding a forced queue (as in WoW’s dungeon finder) would just upset the whole community. Most of us have very different playstyles – some want to speedrun, some want to kill everything, some want a mix of both, some want only specific classes and gear types, others take in all players. Adding a queue would just make a lot of people fight.
Now about the dungeon scaling – in my opinion it should never de-scale, but if some want raids they could run an upscaled 6,7,8,9,10 people dungeon for exactly the same reward. That way we would fix the “I want bigger parties” problem without affecting the rest of the game.

they really need to do something about the other builds too. Right now healing is terrible. AOE fields that one puts down for the boss to put his own AOE damage field within immediately and 90% of the time just after you did is just trolling. LFG is a definite must if in fact this game has turned into a dungeon only thing (which it’s starting to look like) and I would imagine that people are tired of FotM by now. They need to make the game what they claimed it would be, mostly open world focused with permanent new DE/metas every week and a serious look into the side activities because they understood the plight of the gamers who didn’t want to run dungeons ad nauseum as I recall.
