Restore that which was lost. And all shall be as one.”
I have a permanent Evon badge, Majory’s journal and Scarlet’s journal. God knows why..

Nah, she smote me her Smiting Bow of Fools only yesterday

I’m happy that Marjory’s Journal still works. That film-noir scene is awesome. I also have a Zephyr sanctum model, but it’s broken sadly.

Oh yeah, I have Scarlet’s Journal too! Also never going to delete that because it makes me feel special. And for some reason I still have 13 free tournament tokens, will keep those forever.

A lot of people tend to save certain items/tokens because it has some sort of emotional value, even if they don’t use it.
I was wondering what are your favorite items in game that you are saving and you will never delete? Is it a special weapon that you got from a friend? Item from an old event, such as scanner from first Halloween? Maybe a trinket with funny description?
For me personally, it’s a mail that I got about a month after launch. I was leveling my warrior and I kept getting mails from spammers. After I got frustrated with all the spam, I replied to one of them with ‘STOP SPAMMING ME PLEASE’ ( it was super important to use all caps to let him know how annoyed I was :P ) and few seconds later I got a response (see screenshot). It made me laugh for some reason and I’ve been saving that mail this whole time. To this day, it still makes me giggle and I will never delete that mail.
How about you guys?
This was, most likely, from the Hint Achieving for Inbox Mail. People thought they were people helpful by randomly spamming mails for a while or didn’t understand how it worked.
Child drawing, made the mistake of using it from very first LS event. Very glad they had them again in the Lions Arch arch of the LS.
Oh lol. I actually keep a lot of that stuff.
Currently playing Heart of Thorns.
The first “skin” I wanted. I wanted it so bad and I’ve never changed it since then. Arachnophobia for my thief. Other than that Scarlet’s surprise present and basically every other “story” item.
The baseball cap from the launch weekend. For some reason I got 2 of them, one I converted to a wardrobe skin (even though I never use it) and the other one I’m keeping in my bank.
Also Tixx’s Ventari toy frame and Marjory and Scarlet’s journals.
I also have Polla but I’m actually using that on one of my low level characters, until they get something better.
Oh and I keep my Hero’s Rings on each of my characters, even after they get a better ring.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
I completely forgot about Marjory’s and Scarlet’s journal and the zephyr sanctum model. I have them stuck on a mule I never play anymore. Also my Watchknight tonic, that only allows you to use it for 5 minutes out of 30. (Still annoyed about that design decision). These are all items I’ll never destroy, along with any similar item in upcoming events.
The Zephyr Sanctum model. The most beautiful zone, the best Living Story, a lot of good memories.

No contest: my Dragon Emblem T-Shirt won as a prize during Pink Day in LA. (An in-game item that is a T-Shirt with the GW2 Dragon Logo on it). It garnered more attention than a Legendary Weapon, and was far more rare. Now it is a horribly matched full set of clothing in TONIC form that embarrasses me to wear (it has been paired with bright red boots now). If they would at least turn those Tonics into Outfits, then I could salvage something of it with a little dye.

Speaking of Gaile, I still have THIS.
In case you read this Gaile Gray, darling I still kept it after all these years. I would never dare throw it away.

Blondie Croft: Sexy Raider
J/k very nice though

During the Attack on Lion’s Arch event while waiting for the city to re-open, I would catch frogs in Bloodtide Coast . I ended up with a stack of 250 Marsh Frogs. My Sylvari Mesmer still has them in her bag. I think she has taken a liking to them because they are both green.
I keep my Hero’s Rings on each of my characters, even after they get a better ring.
I usually get rid of my older gear as my characters level up, but for some reason I also hold onto those rings. Each of my characters keeps it in the second slot of their inventory, right next to the Hall of Monuments Portal Stone.
well I have an Adept’s Training Manual on my “selling list” it’s been there for 2 years now…
I told an in-game buddy that I was a bit upset I didn’t have any cake for my birthday and he mailed me a chocolate cake, cheap and not exactly top tier consumable but it still sits in my bank. Don’t think I’ll ever delete.
Don’t worry the games still in Beta.

I miss the shorts and sleeveless hoodie and witches boots I had and could dye as an outfit. I think when they took those away is when I threw away the cap and sent all the old clothes back in return for gems. It wouldn’t have been terribly hard to turn some of these into outfits. But then there’s the whole healthy and appropriate comments that still linger. Oh well. So much for choices and options.
How about you guys?
Pearls from the lakes that no longer exist on the Borderlands maps in WvW.
The Whispers’ Tazer Glove. They told me to hold on to it!
Oh lol. I actually keep a lot of that stuff.
Open it, open it all! Please!

Hey, Tyria has a Hooters.
RIP City of Heroes
I keep the mail I received when I was chosen as Member of the Month in guild…what leader wrote to me there really touched me enough to never delete that mail ever, not even now that I’m co-leader.

It’s called “Two-Ters” … delightfully tacky, yet unrefined. Worked there for only a few months, then got fired when ANet took my work uniform away. I’d do anything to get it back.

Oh yeah I also still have the mail for my Digital Deluxe edition items (from launch), and the message saying I won a prize in the Pink Day in LA race/quiz thingy.
I mean I have a ton of other mail I haven’t deleted, but those two I’m deliberately keeping, not just being lazy about.

Heh.. got 2 items like this actually. The iron legion primus badge (3+ precision) i bought with karma after my very first completed heart and the old pistol my char started out with. Keeping them as lucky charms and always have them with me, far down in the corner of my inventory…and even if im fully aware its a bad move i always use the old pistol as off hand weapon for the few times i use pistols to battle rather then a rifle.

The mail was from a gold spammer for sure, his previous message was “pvp bank bla bla…” that’s why I got frustrated. Hint achievements went a little different though, some sent me “spam spam” while someone sent “Fight me irl”. I was keeping that one untill a few days ago but I had to clear my inbox :P
