I wanted to create an appreciation post for the people who have designed the most recent glider skins.

I myself am extra grateful for the Raven’s Spirit glider, which is something I’ve been silently hoping for ever since I acquired the Nevermore staff. Please do keep on designing more gliders to match the different legendary weapons and weapon sets (The Bloodstone glider <3).

One other great ongoing theme has been the profession themed gliders, like the Necrotic glider and the Phoenix glider. I’m sure many of us players would love to see this theme going on too!

And then there’s the Crystalline Dragon Wings glider. It was a fan favorite wished for glider ever since we saw it in the personal story of The Heart of Thorns. Great job on delivering it as both, a glider and a backpack! <3

All in all the quality of the recent glider designs and themes has been amazing. Please do keep on implementing these great ideas and themes of yours in the future as well. <3

And a final wish: Please do consider expanding the themes on more backslot items as well.

I’ve been really liking the new gliders. they have been amazing! really appreciate the obvious effort that has gone into the designs and the animations.

I agree, I really like a lot of the new glider skins.

My ultimate wish is to get an earth themed glider (contradictory I know) and then a mechanism for my elementalist to switch between that, the phoenix glider, the electromagnetic ascender and whatever the giant bubble is called when she switches attunement. But that’s probably asking a bit much.

More generally I’m working on having at least 1 glider which is appropriate for each character and really enjoying the variety.

(Although I am a bit concerned that gliders seem to have taken over from mail carriers – we haven’t gotten any new mail carriers in a while and I was hoping to get 1 per character of those as well.)

I agree. The Raven glider is my favorite of all my gliders!

Can we have Golden Fractal, or color-changing Glider skin for those that have crafted the Legendary Ad Infinitum back piece? It could even be an additional item you purchase with Golden Fractal Relics, but for only those that have successfully crafted the Ad Infinitum. Reason I ask, is since crafting the Legendary Ad Infinitum back piece is a huge task, the rewarded Glider skin does not have all the ‘frills’ nowadays glider skin have. Something like a makeover, for the highest level back piece / Glider, please…???

i like the raven glider its a bit like pureblood firehawk but i only play this mmo so this glider is the best for me now thnx
