You will need more.. more more more things to get one.

Legendary is an hard work.

There is no other chance to get pre than gambling in mf atm, price for The Legend just go from 322g to 399g now in last 2 days there is no way i can make 80g in 2 days its just totally stupid, prices for rares/exotics lvl 75+ go higher too i just feel sad for players who will buy GW2 now or later because there will be no chance for them to get legendary unless they will be very very lucky with MF.

Atm according to my spreadsheet i’m at 324 rare staves and 298 rare short bows lvl 75+ which i throw to mf and from all this rares i got 1 exotic, because MF hates me too much and there is no way i can farm all this money to buy any pre i just give up in this matter but i wish rest of you luck with your gambling/farm.

Hey, this is my result of trying your out your way.

75x lvl 74 rares, 25x lvl 80 rares

21 lvl 80 rares -> forged into 2 exotic = Memory Of the Sky, Defiant Blaze
4 exotics = Jaws of Death, Beacon Of Kryta, Clerics Quaggan Speargun, Sarracanceinaceae
precusor = 0

all in all i made a loss of about 15 gold (invested 20g as recomended).

But i already used over 2k lvl 80 rare dagger on the MF, and didn´t expected to get a precursor at all

@OP. What a joke for anyone who only plays a few hours each evening! Getting 200g, roflmao.

Generally: As was stated by Ashanae; new players will find it very hard, without resorting to buying gold (legitimate or not), botting or farming remorselessly for that ‘pure luck’ chance.
Personally; as with some items in other MMOs, I cannot be bothered to do this. I just find it amusing reading the forum posts. As someone who has no interest in obtaining a legendary weapon, and is not bitter about it; I think that the rewarding of a precursor based entirely on RNG is stupid. So far my contribution to this insane gamble has been to throw 4 level 75+ weapons into forge and salvage what came out. No other explanation of my opinion, no argument, no replies needed, thank-you. :-)

This thing is a more of a silly joke now unfortunatly. Right now those percursors have turned in to a “pay to win” issue and i bet a lot of people keep overloading the gem-store in hope of catching up with the monopolized weapons on the TP. I really wish Anet would do something though, cause i cant see the big deal of changing the formula for the legendary itself to make it more difficult. and rather disscard the entire concept of a “Tradeable” weapons that none will ever get their hands on. Yes i do agree(before the trolls start flameing)that the legendary should be really and i mean really horribly difficult to get, but turning it into a casino does not seem like a realistic approach in the long run. If people stop playing because of this, the only people with legendary weapons, will be the only ones on the server at all.(hypothetically ofc)

Legendary weapons have no advantage over any other weapon.

So it is in no way pay 2 win. Because it will not help you win in any way.

Paying for cosmetics is not pay 2 win.

More of a figure of speach. the point is unchanged though, i belive everyone should at least get the chance.(though a slim one) and not like it is now. but Anet have listened and want to do something, so I`de say case closed
