Now before you read this remember Anet has done an EXCELLENT job of keeping the story open, especially after the EDs.

So I was looking at the world map (wiki the world, the whole world not the in game map) and I thought “Yea, our known world has the most magic likely due to highest population, but it seems odd that ALL (maybe not Bubs idk) of the dragons are going there. Shouldn’t at least one of them best smart enough to realize it can feed on the lesser magic while the others are elsewhere, thus that magic is enough?” Then I realized: There probably ARE dragons doing that. WE have such a tiny fraction of the world, there could be a dozen more feeding in low magic areas, but high enough for a single dragon. One that especially strikes me is Cantha. They couldn’t trade because of Zhaitain, but something happened, what was it.. oh yea, he died. So why, in 3 years, have they not returned? Surely they need trade… unless they discovered a new civilization on the northen side of the Tyrian supercontinent (which is close to Cantha as the map wraps like real life), and there’s another story boom. But what I like better is (and this solves the China whatever thing that was) is something like Guild Wars 2: Lost Civilization (or continent, or lands of whatever but cool name!). And we kill all the dragons and after a break kinda look around and go “Hey, it’s been 10 years since Zhaitan died why hasn’t Cantha come back?” We go there, find a 7th dragon that destroyed Cantha since they couldn’t come together like us, and then we realized there may be an 8th and more so boom we’ve got a reason to get the whole world. And of course on the way (or the main story can change any time) we can have epic new stuff like just more and more and more lore and new races, and even new civilizations. Think about how IRL North and South America were oblivious to the other half of the world for a long time, as was the other side to them. The same could be true for Tyria, and given how small our PC known world map is, there could even be upwards of 3 total civilizations. So anyway the point of this was to: Give some ideas to Anet, and help other realize what I did about how frigging huge the world is and how much potential!

To clarify this Cantha solves the problem of China (while still letting ppl go back) because all the people are dead or turned, and the buildings are wrecked so it’s hard to tell if it’s racist or not cause it’s all gone.

I really doubt there are more than 6 dragons. For one thing, the view of the eternal alchemy that we saw ourselves awash in in one of the cinematics clearly show – 6 dragons. Another is there also seems a suggestion that there’s one dragon for each of the six gods, although that might be reading too much into it. Regardless I think we have exactly 6, or five now with zhaitan gone.

Except, the current emperor(or was it the one before, i forget) of cantha is so xenophobic that he forced the Tengu to leave the country, so maybe he wouldnt trade anywho.

Plus, even with the death of Zhaitan id imagine the fleet that blocked off the trade routes is still out there and has yet to be eliminated!

The pvp community reminds me of what Obi-kittenenobi describes Mos Eisley as from star wars.

True, although they never said dragons, the orbs could actually be a vision of anything (on the topic of gods, perhaps the 6 returning or the orb going in, one dying, forcing the return of the others). I agree dragons is most likely though

The orbs in the visions represent the six elder dragons.

“A vision induced by Omadd’s Machine, which was meant to open the mind to the Eternal Alchemy, showed The All with six colored orbs that represented the Elder Dragons. In the vision, Zhaitan’s orb crashed into Tyria’s central orb, eclipsing the entire vision; this vision took place two years after Zhaitan’s death.

The Durmand Priory have a depiction of The All on the ceiling of the Special Collections, which places the first letter of the Elder Dragons’ name to each of the six spheres. "

oh ok cool! and I guess that’s how we know Bubbles is actually something S? Ok, now my theory is a stretch (though they can always think of something if they want). Thanks for posting source as well!
