There's no way to get Destroyer Scythe?

This weapon is super cool. Why is it even in the wardrobe if it’s impossible to get?
Because it used to be possible to get, and the wardrobe wants to show all possibilities.
How to Condi Reaper on a budget
Everything I say is only in reference to PvE and WvW.

Then why doesn’t it show the Witch’s Hat? Unless you have it? That was definitely possible to get, I have it.

When and how? This is the first time I’ve ever seen it.
It was a PvP weapon.
Wiki indicates the ‘cool-as-hell-lava-scythe’ has never actually been available.
Acquisition
Acquisition method for this skin has never been determined, but its name suggests that it most likely was a part of the old PvP reward system.
I have Guardian I really want to use it with .
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

Well, yeah, since it’s name is PvP Destroyer Scythe. Like the ‘Talk’ indicates, it was probably one of the high-level rewards from before the PvP to PvE and vice versa skin change back in 2014.
They are sitting on a quite a few unused/removed weapons and armours from PvP and other stuff. Pretty happy that they confirmed that some of them are coming back at some point.
Anet pls
You get it by soloing the Primordius raid on mythic.

Soon™? Honestly, ANet has been saying that since back in 2014. I don’t have much trust in ANet to do anything they say they are any more. If they do bring it back, it will likely be locked behind some ridiculous grind or time gate like everything else is these days.

A little history: I wrote that. I spent weeks trying to figure out how to make it, then a couple of months digging around for any kind of info I could find on it before finally finding it on a massive auto-generated list of ‘unreleased’ items. It is indeed labeled as a PvP weapon, labeled in the same way that other PvP weapons were labeled, and there were no other variants listed. Given the relative uniqueness of the skin, and the changes that happened to PvP ranking when the wardrobe was instituted, I conjectured that it was a Dragon-level reward from the forge, only available while there were no Dragon-level players in the game. So far, no one’s been able to refute it
Aside from the shape, the skin is little different from other Primordus skins. It glows. It smokes. Most classes just wave it at monsters rather than smack them with it.

“at some point”
Just like SAB will be back…
And bunny ears will be back…
Please give us a keyring…

I don’t think they’ve ever said anything about bringing bunny ears back.
