By watching their movements mainly of course. Apart from that it was pretty easy to determine anyway. Also note that there were a lot of bots that were NOT rangers.
Look for names, behaviour and groups is pretty much it really……

Nooo! I’m about to log back in and go get a jungle stalker kitty, too. I have to admit, playing my ranger these past two days has made me nervous about being falsely reported. Especially since I’ve played a ton of PVE.
Need to get something to 80 finally, don’t need a ban for trying! I am not a bot! Heh. I’d run around typing that in chat over and over if I thought it would help, but it would just convince everyone the bots learned to talk.

I don’t use bears in case someone thinks I’m a bot. But the bear rangers are only the most obvious bots. I’ve seen warrior bots, and once I saw a necro bot.

That’s so unnecessary. If you’re not botting you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
My Ranger uses a bear all the time and I haven’t run into any problems. Why would I?
I would only worry if you are running around with a bunch of other rangers….who look like you and have the same animal….
I’ve only ever reported groups where the people are almost all identical whether they are rangers, warriors, ect. The only other type of bots I report are the ones that stand around shooting until something shows up to shoot at.
You as a lone ranger is nothing anyone would report.

The necro uses the elite minion bc it reheals out of combat. Suprised i havent seen guardian bots after playing mine and taking on things with ease.
