Things that damage this game
number three is one of my pet peeves about gw2. seems like everytime you turn around another currency needed maybe they should reuse old currencies. that way you dont need to redo the wallet so much
I won’t address most of what you have to say, OP, but the bags in containers thing has upsides and downsides. First of all, salvaging for mats is the way a lot of people make money. If you got every blue and green in your inventory directly, you’d have no inventory space at all. The whole bags in boxes things means when I’m playing in something like DS I can salvage and deposit as I go for the few things I get, and everything else is a box in a stack. You remove those boxes and you end up with nothing. If you only reward gold there are people who won’t feel rewarded at all. There are probably psychological reasons for that, but there are still people who like open bags for a chance at an exotic, even if they hardly ever get one..particularly if they hardly ever get one.
There’s really no perfect answer for #2, but this is a game of trickles. Thinking that only the big drops matter means you’ve sort of missed how loot works in this game.
I agree bags in bags are annoying. Full inventory is more annoying.
I have to disagree with all your points here mate.
2 -> It makes sense to have smaller bags in a chest no matter the way you put it. Plus it saves space.
3 -> Having multiple currencies makes sense with the game having so many different and exotic cultures eg, exalted, itzel and so on.
I really can’t believe if these 4 points are the main things that bothers you or you think are the most significant problems to this game. As an amateur game programmer, I can think of a lot more significant ones such as the presence of botting, lack of consistent mob drops messing around with the economy and map closing which causes ppl to lose participation rates.

I prefer to play like that, grow the stacks of containers you get from playing in one region for a while and only open them when I feel like it.
Toward that purpose, I would love to have a special inventory bag that containers will go into as long as there’s room, like the craftsman’s bags and equipment boxes and whatnot.
On point 3 – the suggestion of a key ring has been raised repeatedly to handle the multitude of currencies. Platinum above has a point about the different and exotic cultures using different currencies. I think if we finally got a key ring this wouldn’t seem so much of an issue.
EDIT: it seems that the forum engine changes “#3” to “1.”. :o

Yep, I’d like this type of bag too.
