The game is not dying. OP is burned out because he exhausted a lot of the content so fast, and now has to wait for more expansions to provide more content in the style that he likes.

Re: population drop: there is always a drop after 2-3 months, this is a well-known thing and companies plan around it. It is basically the point where folks like the OP burn through the first wave of stuff and then wait for the next one.

Re: re: population drop: my server is always full. Folks are consolidating in the communities they prefer, so the even spread is starting to get lopsided.

tl;dr: game is not dying. Every game, WoW included, goes through this after every launch/expansion. OP needs to take a break, feel less mad that he blew through things so fast, and come back when there’s more new stuff for him to do.

I love gamers like this. They’re so oblivious that they can’t even tell they’re just getting burnt out on the game in general.

Sure, people have left. Lots of people dont like vertical progression and they thought this game wasn’t going to be that way. Has nothing to do with the game being ‘broken’ or ‘full of bugs’ like you say. It’s just a game that they dont want to play.

Sounds like you dont want to play it either. We appreciate the ‘good bye’ thread. So many considerate MMO gamers love to create threads about them leaving.

Like they’re so important to us that we’ll just cry ourselves to sleep tonight because they left the game
