So I know I am on the cusp of your recent patch. However I want to address this in advance. In general from a multitude of sources, I see people becoming hyped about Halloween in Guild Wars 2. (I started as soon as the last one ended.) Indeed this is a huge part of some of us, and we generally look forward to it beyond measure. For the past month or so I have been seeing posts about the music, the jumping puzzle, the labyrinth and of course the King of Madness himself. I really really want to stress how important Halloween is for a lot of us and hope that you take that into heavy consideration!
I just wanted to let the Devs know how much we love Halloween, we would love new story-line. Personally I would love to see a female villain in all this to! (I am indeed totally byist as a necromancer and a female.)
However regardless of that, whatever you do please don’t remove the Labyrinth, my Necro happens to have an on again off again romance going with the Skeletal Horror(called Steven in my guild), hes always jumping out and surprising her….. with death
What more could a girl ask for?

Would love to have a Halloween event as awesome as the very first one in GW2. It’s my favorite holiday, and Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 have always had a tradition of playing it up for sheer awesomeness.
(I just wish the new LA looked as good creepified as the pre-Scarlet one did.)

Have to agree, the Halloween event is one of the best ones out there and is something to look forward to every year. Hope there are some resources being utilized for changes to the events.
Coming from a gw1 vet here, Halloween and Wintersday have always been my favorite times of the year ingame. It was always cool seeing the city updates, Mad King Thorn, and the spooky theme in general. Especially when the Mad King game included lots of death.
I am also hoping it gets a story update! It would be awesome to see the Lunatic Courts storyline come back into play again. Since the whole thing with the seals has been on hold for awhile now.
Heck the two events are practically community tradition by now.
I’m also still waiting for Reapers Rumble to make a return Anet.

Loved the very first Halloween GW2 had. Was so much excitement in the air, so much craziness going on. I really hope Anet gives us something to make me feel that way again. I am sure I will play it a ton either way though.
Looking forward to Halloween. I like the zombie vs human events where you switch to the zombie team if you lose. I would love to hide in a bunch of castles with siege weapons holding out zombie players, then hiding or running away to live until the rescue ships arrive.

Yes I loved the lunatic inquisition. It ran into an issue between people who wanted to play it and people grinding it for an achievement. I do with the ghosts and humans could one shot each other, and there were more standoffs or more trees and jumping puzzles to climb, offset by an ability for ghosts to warp to any other ghost. People knew the hiding spots, but it was still fun.
