I’m expecting Thorn to try to burst through the statue again, but all that happens is we hear a thud, then he teleports onto the plaza with a crack on his head, and complains about the lack of statue and how concrete sucks for bursting through dramatically ;P

Happy to see Halloween come back, that’s a great festival!

I do have one question though. You talked about weapon skins Gale, but what about the mini gwynefyrdd from ToT bags? Is it going to stay obtainable?

I’ve opened more than 1 million bags so far (no kidding…) and still haven’t got mine… Time is running out and I’m a bit worried that I won’t get it in time if it were to disappear.

You should save some development time to turn the festival stories into replayable Journal stories that are get a few per-character rewards, and really nice challenging account achievements with bonus rewards that reset every year. Kind of like the GW1’s festival quests.

Love Halloween. Like you, Gaile, it is also my favorite holiday. Of course it doesn’t help that I celebrate my birthday then too. I look forward to seeing whats new this year.

I agree I’d love to see some new events, although I did love the labyrinth as well. I hope to never see the tower jumping puzzle again though.

Heck Yeah. and the running around for Mad King Memoirs! That was incredible. We loved it so much! Wish it would come back, but not holding our collective breath

This isn’t the proper question though. The real question is it going to run BEFORE HoT or are we going to be forced to ignore new expansion content to participate in the event?

I remember my first Halloween is GW1. It kick started my love of Halloween in Guild Wars. Other MMO’s I’ve played just didn’t hit the spot like Guild Wars can.

It looks like the spooky ghost will be back in the gem store. The datamine of today’s patch shows the Halloween mini pack returning to the gem store.

“A miniature spooky ghost, spooky skeleton, and spooky spider come together in this limited-edition collector’s pack.”

I booked Halloween week off this year specifically because MMO’s like GW1, Gw2 (and TSW and Anarchy) take Halloween to such fun levels.

The fact that HoT launches with is just a bonus!

Sometimes I think it’s a shame the UK doesn’t invest in the festivities of Halloween to the same extent you guys do. Always seems like so much fun for Americans.
