So my main source of income since I pvp all the time is using greens in the mystic forge, getting rares, and salvaging them into ectoplasms, which then i sell through the black lion market. But there are times when the game does not give me the option to sell them, i don’t understand why, can someone please tell me x.×.

Because they are in an invisible bag.

Do you have any bags that hide gear/items from showing up on the TP? Like Invisible bags or safe bags?

If the item is in such a bag, the sell at TP button won’t show up. Just move the item to another bag and it should show up.

You put things you DON’T want to sell there so you don’t sell them by accident! You got only invisible types of bags so it doesn’t help.

Its phenomenally handy for putting stuff you don’t want to accidentally sell in. Also handy because stuff inside of it doesn’t get sorted or deposited, so you can arrange things in certain ways or keep materials (like Quartz for charging) while being free to use the sort and deposit features.

Just not useful as general storage.

Its just too bad that they don’t protect against Collectors. Those kittens can pickpocket even your Invisible bags.

Moral of the story: Stop being so cheap, and pull your finger out to buy quality bags, instead of cumbersome “utilities”

Not really o.o, they are still great bags, all i gota do is move them to my general one to sell.

Moral of the story: Read item descriptions.

KX – I keep one Invisible Bag on every one of my characters.
I keep it at the bottom of my bag inventory. All other bags are standard bags(On my characters) but note there are other special bags too. Check out
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Bag under “Functions and features” for more description.

In the Invisible Bag I keep things like Unequipped Ascended & Exotic weapons as well as any other items that I would kick myself for if I sold them by mistake. Easier than you might think if you are in a hurry and maybe not paying full attention.

Yes, as explained, an Invisible Bag is really useful for tucking in those things you want to carry, as opposed to store, but want to ensure you don’t sell in error. I have regular bags for everything except the final slot, and there I put an Invisible Bag. It protects the four of five tasty bows I’m still deliberating about saving or selling, along with Black Lion Chests, Treat or Treat bags, keys, etc. In the latter cases, the stacks are something that may grow if I get another ToT bag or BLC, so it’s handy to have them all gathered in the protected Invisible Bag.

I do the same, I keep one Invisible bag on each of my characters for the reasons described above, in the final slot. They are incredibly useful to storing Quartz, tonics, your food/consumables of choice, and personal alternative gear.

I also keep one Exotic Bag on each character, from Fractals, to store personal gear and exotics (the bag will grab your offhand Exotic if you swap from 2x 1Hs to a 2H weapon), which is also very useful.

Tend to use standard bags for the rest of my bag slots, though on occassion I may use something a bit more specialised, such as a junk-item bag or whatnot (can’t remember their name) in one slot (to help ensure stuff I can’t salvage goes elsewhere), or a rare fractal bag for similiar reasons.

The variety in bags is one of those inventory management things ANet actually got really right with this game, and I’m glad it’s a feature.

i just use it for skins i can’t sell, it’s kinda annoying to have a skin on the top of my inventory while that’s where i focus when i get new stuff.

Treat or Treat bags

Bahahaha! I’m not sure if that’s a typo, but it’s still pretty accurate. ;P

On topic: I’m personally not a fan of invisible bags since I’m almost OCD about what I’m selling to a vendor, but for most people, it can be incredibly useful.

My last bag is invisible. Keeps me from accidentally selling items I want to keep.

Gone to Reddit.

I use one for bloodstone dust and empryeal fragments that I plan to feed to Mawdrey and the empryreal eater. That way I can send stuff to my bank without the dust going too.

~blush~ Typo. I love them so much, though, I do think every single one is a treat!

I know karma armor can so why not weapons bought with badges?
