If all the editions didn’t include the core game and the standard came with a character slot instead.

I bought the expansion, I did not get a second account. Only new players get the core game. $50 is the price for an account upgrade to the new expansion. It seems like a steep price to pay for such conservative amounts of content and new players are certainly getting the better end of the deal.

But hey, I want reaper and gliders.

They’re giving the core game away free because they want a bigger playerbase, right? Why don’t they just send out emails to upgraded accounts with a second key that they can give out to friends? Problem solved, sorta.
