I both like and seriously dislike this feature.

1) There is all ways somebody out there. If you want to do join an event, want help, want advice, or just don’t like the emptiness that some of the maps had become.
2) Bosses are getting done and the pre-events get done (but see below).

A) Guild Missions are awful now. We used to complete the whole thing (even with the jokes and farming) in about 1.5 hours. Now we plan on 2 to 3 hours of hard work, which is NOT an increase to the fun factor of the game.
a) Getting everybody to the right place takes a LONG time, breaking parties, joining parties, taxiing, etc.
b) And then you get to the Mission spot and find out there are other Guilds waiting at that spot, so you are now last in line, for a while. Yes you can join in on some of these, but what if the other Guild doesn’t want your help, or if there is not enough time to complete it for your entire Guild? What if it an event that requires lots of cooperation, that is hard to do with 2 different Guilds. Trying to find another unoccupied or less impacted instance is not always an option and usually fails.
—— I think the fix for this is to allow the Guild to trigger an instance just for their event, and if you are a member of that Guild and are going to that map you will enter that instance. I have not played GW1, but some one mentioned that you could choose which map to go to when you way pointed, (i.e. Sparkfly Fen1, or Sparkfly Fen2, etc.)
B) Getting a group together to do something is often a problem, again lots of taxiing required. Just to get everybody in the same place, and woe unto the poor toon that is odd toon out. He may never meet up with his crowed.
C) Often there are just TOO many players at an event! I have run the Maw and gotten only a Bronze for the Maw and nothing for the pre-events. Too many players with too much DPS!
——- For this one I have no solution, except improved scaling, both up and down. But not just for the Boss but also for the pre-events, let the totem last longer, add more grawls during the walk, etc.
