Time to go home
I begin to think there might be something suspicious about Minister Caudecus.
By that time Ive already lost all my faith in anet, that we will ever see all of those missing minigames getting ever added, like Polymock, Bar Brawls and Shootign Range – all that cool stuff, that should make every single town visit cool and special and bring players to the point, that they want to visit all of the towns regularly.
Somethign like Dynamic Town Events would have done all the rest together with town unique activities that require to visit those specific towns to be able to play them, rather to ran just to a stupid npc in lions arch and beign always able to play 1 single random activity on a silly rotation system, which completely negates the whole concept of activities beign anythign town special at all, that should lead players to go visit all the towns >.>
Thats uptil today one of the things, where I start to beleive, that net absolutely sometines doesn’t know at all, what they are doing or that they seem to think, that its absolutely ok to postpone some essential key element game contents and features, which should have been implemented in the game already from release date on, as like they have been announced that they will be.
Sigh
If I would at least know, what ANets plans are about these things, then I I would at least know, if I can still happily wait for those thigns to come at the tiem of X, or if I can finally stop caring for those things, because Anet has already likely decided 2 years ago to put these fesatures and this new content completely on ice and decided to never ever speak about these things anymore (what drives naturally the community even more crazy – this silence policy especially can we see this now in the last few weeks again, where all of this has reached a new top of frustration level, where we basically forced Mike to come out of his hole due to all the community toxicity in the forums)
If I would just hear from a dev the words like:
“We are still working on things like Polymok, Bar Brawls ect. but unfortunately, yet it isn’t the right time for their implementions. We’ll be ready to talk more about these things soon ..” would be more than enough, because then I#d know at least, that these thigns are somewhere within Anet a kind of backburner project, that gets worked on just very slowly, and gets implemente,d once the right time and moment has come for those things…
But that permanent silence and not knowing about, if somethign has been eventually already very long ago ditched from the table perhaps out of whichever reasons, without lettign us know that, is the point, which I personally find extremely terribly annoying and disappointing, where I just say for myself, that I’d expect better community interaction and information about what we will see for this game in a near future and which thigns might not come ever anymore, due to various problems ect. pp, even if those information might create disappointments.
But its better to knw, that somethign will never come, than to live permanently in the dark of knowing nothing at all about thigns about you are caring alot for and that you’d like to see in the game, because you think that they wopuld massively improve the game for many players and stuff like Polymock, Bar Barwls and HSootign Range would definetly do that…
Minister Caudecus and his guests have been monopolizing the carnival/shooting range in Divinity’s Reach for two years now – isn’t it about time to tell the guests to go home so us common citizens can see what the fuss is all about?
Only if they decide to work it into the living story.
Oh you didn’t know? If it doesn’t involve the LS, it’s meaningless.
