I’ve decided I’m going to take a break from the game quite honestly i find it all very “meh”

I’m a little disappointed in the Dungeons side of things with the lack of reward unless you grind tokens , which isn’t “fun” for me i like the difficulty of them but i just don’t like that when i kill a really hard boss that i don’t get rewarded for it.
Some dungeons are basicly like doing raids, wipe lots of times and then finally get the boss down and your like " yes !!!!" then to be disappointed because there was no loot for anyone.

WVW is just wintersgrasp on steroids, fun but boring after a while the running back from way point gets really tedious after a few runs. and the fact you cant queue and join with your guild is lame. I was in the queue for 2 hours today … some people queue for much longer.

i guess everything just seems like too much effort for such little gain
Playing for fun is all well and good but it gets boring prettykittenquick..

this is just my opinion on the game and everyone is entitled to disagree if you like how gw2 at the moment then gratz i wish i felt the same way its a long wait till thenext “BIG MMO”

obviously Anet MUST make guild partying much easier.
you should be able easily to go rock wvw with your guildies.

and some guild vs guild could be cool too.

No monthly fee. This game is just now going into its 4th week of being live.

Take a break, keep up with when new content updates go live and come play. That is one of the many great things about this game and the wonderful absence of gear progression. You are never left behind, you can pick it back up when ever and are able to jump back in and have fun.

Try to work harder on witty responses.

first you say you like the dungeons , but you only want to play them if you get your shiny items. If you are enjoying the game why do u want to stop playing it? just because you do not get ’epic’’ items?

Also at 80 there is no ’ better ’ gear eventually. just cosmetic.

yup pretty much, i like the dungeons but i dont want to do them if i get nothing out of them.

you forget you have to repair , make consumables (food) , wipe many times and spend a long time in the dungeons, spec right which costs money, have the right stats on gear so you may need to farm the appropriate gear not forgetting just teleportign to the waypoint isnt exactly cheap all these thinsg add up , and then you go dungeon and what do you get?
NOTHING
i guess you make some silver from doing COF runs but if you want to do the dungeons that take 1+ hours then your losing money and to top it off you get nothing for our troubles

i cant be alone on this because well the tons of threads in thsi forum and the complete lack of interest in game for dungeons, if there is nothing wrong then people sure have a f unny way of showing it

also im fully aware of how the system works in regards to “epics” i am full exotic geared and have done my COF runs like most people….boring.. i know the items are only cosmetic. i was fully exotic the first day i dinged 80 i crafted everything liek most people.

Give the WvW endgame time. It wasnt big in DAOC till about 3 months after launch. Once the servers stttle down you will start seeing server pride, and big guild claiming and making their name in WvW. I dont know what Wintergrasp means ? guessing a League of legends map maybe?

The OP makes a legitimate point, loot in this game from bosses and dungeons especially is very underwhelming. As fun as the dungeons are, I’m not going to do them 50 times just to get the loot I want, and not be rewarded at all along the way. People can troll all they want, but this is an issue with the game right now.

Wintergrasp is an open world PVP map in WoW. To be honest I find it completely insulting to Anet and WvW to even use them in the same sentence. Wintergrasp was a terrible idea that Blizzard had and WvW is a thousand times better. All I can say to the OP about that is, you clearly don’t know Wintergrasp or WvW.

As for the OPs comments on dungeons, I can’t say. I haven’t done one and I don’t know that I ever will. My interest in this game lies in WvW and some open world PVE. I will say that I never saw this game advertised as a good dungeon game and I am not sure what people expected on that end.
