To Those in Path of Hurricane Sandy
Sandy is raging pretty hard here right now, quite an experience! Sounds like our house is going to blow over :P
Good vibes to everyone in the way of the superstorm!
I have a friend who was just outside the mandatory evacuation line as of yesterday. Haven’t heard from her today so not sure whether they stayed to tough it out and guard their home or if they evac’d to their cabin.
Even where I am on the very outskirts of the storm’s perimeter, the winds are scary strong. Hoping none of the branches from the huge tree that over hangs our mobile home decides to come down. It would definitely just go right through the roof possibly killing one of us or our pets. Mobile home roofs aren’t made to withstand large tree limbs, lol. Luckily we’re out of the flood zone.

Just outside Baltimore, MD here. It was no where near as bad as I was expecting. It did keep me out of work for a night and possibly tomorrow. There are a lot of places without power and they won’t be able to fix any of it until tomorrow night at the earliest because of the high winds.
Worst I have had to deal with is my pool cover being blown into my pool.
