It’s been 2 WEEKS since the game came out, obviously it is going to be flawed, obviously there will be bugs and, YES, ANET is working to fix these issues, believe it or not.

In just 2 small weeks people already capped their mains and are now complaining because they have nothing to do, DUH, you rushed your way into the end and you didn’t enjoy the ride.

9 times out of 10, whenever a new game is at launch date, the launch is not flawless. D3 had problems and Blizzard is working to fix them, WoW also had huge problems on launch date and it got better in time. Everything gets better in time.

GW2 is the most beautiful MMO ever created and for a f2p game model it is absolutely way more rewarding than anything you’d expect from the same type of game (f2p I mean).

Whatever happened to patience in this world?

I am patient. I understand what this game is trying to be. I even love what this game is trying to be. To respond to your post more directly, I would even argue that this game is quite bug free and functional. The only issues I have noticed since launch day were related to the TP being down (and, tbh, I didn’t really care). Everything else worked smooth as silk.

My problem, bro, is that I ache to see their PvE reach its true potential. What they have. . . it’s a good start, but will not hold through until they make it better.

Finally, a mature response. PvE will reach its true potential.

Honestly, GW1 was boring at first, the constant updates and expansions made the game what it is.

GW2 will get exceptionally better.

Didn’t rush and I did enjoy, love how we all apparently rushed to 80 quick when this game literally rewards you with tons of experience for any little thing you do.

nozdrog, i know right? i can make a lvl 80 alt just by chucking a few gold down on the tp and levelling some crafting on it.

Not that I disagree that GW2 is a great game, but it’s not free to play; it just doesn’t have a subscription. F2P means the client is free then they nickle and dime you to death in the cash shop. I’d rather pay up front and buy the game.

Folks have a right to their opinions. These forums are a lot more civil and useful than the Diablo 3 forums (I blame the moderators here for that! And kittens, the kittens are partly responsible). The more you insist that people see things your way, the more loudly they will insist that you see it theirs.

If you want the complaining on the forum to settle down, stop stirring the pot and post about something game related instead of vaguely disparaging unnamed people, some of whom may have legitimate feedback that the developers need to hear.

And at this point if you feel the urge to point out some ridiculous statement someone made as an example of how certain folks need to be admonished, stop and realize that you’ve been trolled. There’s no shame in that – it happens to all of us on occasion.

Don’t ever think you know what’s right for the other person.
