So, the Arenanet defence force that is a large chunk of this forum tells us “Reward demanders” that while Guild Wars 2 should only be played for fun and when your done stop – claim to us that:

I stopped here because I’m pretty sure aneurysms can be fatal. Congratulations — your topic sentence is actually physically damaging.

They said they’re adding tokens to the dungeon runs, Birdy, please stop trolling.

When, how much? How is it trolling? only 3 of the instances give you level 80 exotics anyway. its still a very limited PvE end-game.

I am not trolling, apologist.

I don’t know when. But you keep making posts ragging on the game when you clearly aren’t finding out facts. If you’re not trolling, then you’re just a moron.

1) I knew they were changing the tokens.

2) What am I wrong about?

3) I am making a point about fanboys and irrational complaint stomping.

Quite clearly, it is correct.

thats false,

everything above TA gives 80 exotics. Also 80 exotics are crazy easy to get. U dont do dungeons to fill out exotics.

Wait can someone enlighten me, what do you mean they are adding tokens to dungeon runs, and changing tokens?

the first thing that comes to mind when you say this is:

1. Will get tokens from completing story mode.

2. Tokens will be standard, and any tokens from any dungeon can be combined and used at any dungeon vendor.

Is this correct or am I totally misunderstanding you?

I thought they said well before launch that there wasn’t even going to be a PvE end game. That they wanted you to feel like you were doing more at from level 1 so there wouldn’t be a major pve end game at launch

Why buy a game that says their are not going to focus on something then ask were is it???

“The logic is flawed and hypocritical, if its not fun to grind tokens then why can’t we just conplete explorables to unlock each armour piece?” – Birdy

Firstly I would point out that the armour pieces in question are to be considered “prestige” armour pieces and so meant to be rarer skins. Using this method you suggest pretty much everyone would have every armour skin inside of a month (the prestige ones anyway).

Secondly were this method to be adopted would you not probably in all likelihood argue that suddenly there are too few dungeons and nothing to do without a grind of some sort.

My opinion and view on the whole grind thing was such that there wouldn’t be a grind to level or get the best gear (which really there isn’t, in the course of playing the game I levelled rapidly to 80 and easily acquired exotic armour and weapons before I’d even done everything).

I would also point out that every dungeon has a chance of exotics being received by the end (and they would be level appropriate but that does not mean 80 at 80, but usually I find around the 75-80 mark is the level of equipment I have received).

You are more than welcome to your opinion but I find there to be nothing particularly wrong, some tweaking of numbers and the like (but thats a given in every game). The PvE is fine, the entire world is your endgame PvE experience. And with that, I bid you good day sir.
