Not sure if it was on patch notes, But i believe not everyone noticed this, but now every token merchant (Bandit crests, geodes, festival tokens, etc..) don’t read only the ammount of tokens you have on ur character inventory. They also read what is in your acc bank and you can spend it even if you don’t have the item on your actual character.

Thats a sweet addition for us that play with various alts, since now I can just save all the tokens on bank and play free with the character I like more at the time.

Oh, hey, that is pretty cool. Generally, if I’m in the area, I keep the currency on me, because I’m actively collecting more of it, but it’s still nice quality of life improvement just the same.

Now if only some of these currencies could end up in the account wallet… ;P

It still takes the same room in your inventory. Made you happy that you got “qol” while they avoided putting the tokens in the wallet, because you know you must buy that extra bank storage on the gem store.

well personally I have the bank space, it was forgetting to take them from the bank and having to port to a bl and bank for them that always bugged me, so dont have to worry about that anymore

I can also confirm that this works with BL tickets/scraps. Some people may have figured that out, but I wanted to say it out loud for those unobservant as me.

Yeah. The Wintersday vendors can see your ugly socks and stuff in your bank also.

I too would like to thank ArenaNet for this improvement.

It works with candy corn/cobs, as I found out when getting a 20 slot bag.

Wait, I can drop the 800 bandit badges I have been carrying with me into the bank, and they still count when I’m at the vendor?

Yeah shame on anet for improving the QoL of players while still trying to get people to buy their product. What’s wrong with those guys anyway? You’d think they were running a business that needed to pay employees and other stuff. Sheesh!

Someone claimed Anet said this is a temporary solution and they are working on finding a way to make bandit crests and geodes go into the account wallet. I don’t know if it’s true but it is a big improvement for other things that are not just used as currency such as candy corn being used in crafting recipes as well as trading in for cobs to then trade in for Halloween bags.

So just be patient. Players have been asking for bandit crests and geodes to be added to the wallet and I imagine Anet is working on a solution, since those items are used only as a form of currency and it would make sense.
