Tokens should be wallet
What tokens are you talking about?
EDIT: Ah, yes that would be useful. But then again you usually don’t have more than 4 stacks at the most at one time (unless you are hoarding them for some weird reason) so not really that big of an issues.
But sure, would be nice to add them there down the line. Far from a priority though.

The Silverwastes, Dry Top and different kind of festival tokens.

I usually have about 10 stacks.
I agree. It was pretty exciting when they introduced the wallet to keep track of all your currencies without clogging your bank, and then they promptly introduced yet more currencies and never added them to the wallet.
Maybe the purpose of the wallet was just to make room for the new tokens.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.
I usually have about 10 stacks.
Why?
There is nothing in the game that requires more than 4 stacks.

Yes please, cuz you need 1k+ SW Tokens for most things and thats a lot of space. Geodes are basically tokens too.

1k tokens is 4 slots. That is not really a lot of space.

They could have already gotten everything they wanted with the bandit crests, but are still playing Silverwastes. They do flow in very readily.

Shhh, you’re not helping the situation. You’re attempting to doom everyone here and it’s rude.

I am just pointing out why it isn’t (and shouldn’t be) a priority.

Tokens should not waste inventory space.
[250 Bandit Crests and [250 Festival Tokens] and etc… It should be wallet like karma, Fractal Relics and Dungeons token.
Yep, that shows an amazing lack of polish in the Living World releases. The reason why the wallet was created in the first place was so we wouldn’t have things like the bandit crests and the geodes, yet here we are.
Tokens are a way for ArenaNet to prevent grinders, who already have a lot of gold, from getting all rewards in the game as soon as those rewards are introduced. Which means, it’s very likely that HoT will have new currencies as well. I hope they fix the wallet by then, but I’m not holding my breath.

Its just four slots for the bandit crests.
Its just two slots for the geodes.
Its just one slot for the keys.
Its just one slot for the lock picks.
Its just one slot for the nightmare key peices.
Its just one slot for the sand.
It’s just one slot for festival tokens.
(For each and every kitten festival.)
Seriously guys, its just a couple slots, not a big deal. There are more important things to worry about than wasting an entire bank for the minimum amount. Its your own fault if you have even more than that.

If they don’t get it right now it will continue happening when they add more till we’re cluttered with far too many tokens again.

Agreed, add that all up and it takes like what? 50 spaces maybe?
And they’re all acount bound and cant event put in guild bank.
They could also introduce a stack size increase in Inventory from the gem shop, much like the one for the bank.
I would spend gems on that!

Its bad enough in its own right, but for those who don’t know, the game launched with eight different dungeons which all had tokens as currency, plus badges of honor. You would always be getting more, and rarely could use all that you had in one go. That was a minimum of nine slots that virtually every player had wasted.
The account wallet exists as a fix for this exact problem. Yet its now worse than it was then, with even more currency tokens.
Yes, this is something I seriously want….See my signature.

Crests & Geodes are currencies and have no other use than to spend at a vendor and should not be physical items.
Geodes, Bandit Crests, and any other tokens that one use to barter items should go to wallet.
I may decide to farm 5440 Geodes and then cash them all for recipes in a T6 dry top. That’s 22 stacks. It may not be a lot. Just a 20 slot bag and 2 more slots in another. But, that’s beside the point. If we have a container in the game called wallet then all the currencies should be in the wallet instead of me looking for which currency is in which bank slot.
Any item that is used as a form of currency within the game should be in the wallet.
It is probably to make sure that you “Feel like you’re getting something” as opposed to things going straight to the wallet, relatively unnoticed.

Not really, it’s all about clogging inventory space and “encouraging” players to buy more inventory space.

This
The whole purpose of the wallet is to hold different forms of currency. There’s no excuse for items like geodes, bandit crests, and tokens to be excluded from the wallet. This problem only gets exacerbated every major patch/expansion (xpac zone gives its own currency as well), and is something Anet should addressed.

Agreed, Crests and geodes to the wallet… NOW
I’d like to see any currency that requires more than a full stack have a wallet option. I think it might even be fair to require laurels and/or karma to update the wallet to include tokens.
This really should be a part of their automatic workflow. Whenever a new area with a new currency is added, a space should be made in the wallet.
Ditto for crafting items into the materials tab (foxfire cluster, I’m looking at you).
I absolutely agree, this game has so many forms of currencies, between all the seasonal events and LS stuff they add. It would be so easy to use an already implemented feature (the account wallet) to reduce the strain on inventory slots.
I agree, definitely on the bandit crests and geodes. I’ve got an entire bank tab worth of slots occupied by bandit crests, mostly because I wouldn’t know what to spend them on and party because I like to have some in case I suddenly need them.
For festival tokens I would prefer if they were included but I’d be fine with them not being included as long as permanent currencies are.

See my previous post.
Then there would be no point in even adding the wallet to begin with. If the excuse is <to clog inventory space so more inventory slots are sold> then they wouldn’t have made the wallet in the first place. I assume the real reason it hasn’t been changed is that the wallet was originally designed with the current 4×4 pattern, and changing it would require a ui redesign (and constantly adding a new currency every few patches would only make it messier). That said, even with this reason it doesn’t mean that they should just go and drop this feature without adding all these new currencies they keep introducing. The fact that Anet keeps adding great features/ideas, but rarely expands them or keeps them up to date is one of my least favorite things about this otherwise good company.

Another solution is to increase the amount of crests in can hold in an inventory slot. While 250 is still a “stack”, make it 1000 per inventory slot.

I see it as a balancing act on their part. Maintain pressure without overburdening the players. So we’ll likely see crests and geodes added to the wallet, and new currencies introduced to take up bank space.
It’s a convenience thing- It helps alts pool cresta dn geodes together. exactly the same as the QoL reasons for dungeon tokens which generally had less stacks being held onto.
Would like to see these added to the wallet

Pretty much. That and they do not want to ruin their nice 4×4 grid that took them 20 years to make.
