Once HoT is released will Tomes of Knowledge be changed at all? I’ve heard there is rumors that Tomes will only be usable once a day/per character. Is this information wrong? Thanks!

At HoT launch, ToK will not change, you can not use them to level masteries, but they do give a spirit shard if you use them on a level 80.

Just a rumor. No person can show proof. Many plan to use tome to level up Revenant. Would be much rage if tome get nerf to one a day. Map chat rumor not you friend.

Limiting tomes to once a day use in general wouldn’t make any sense, other than annoying people. It sounds like something somebody drummed up out of boredom and it spread through paranoia.

What he said ^^^ it would take 80 days to level a character 80 then. That is 2 months and 20 days and even if you are a casual player it shouldn’t take that long to get to 80.

(Also lets be honest if you play sPvP you will end up with stacks and stacks of tomes.)

What would be the advantage of nerfing tomes? Especially when they are putting the new content at 80?

That would be almost funny. ANet hands players multiple tomes from login rewards, black lion chests and PvP then says, “Only one a day from now on!”
