What am I gonna do with all this bloodstone dust…

I’ve already made all the bricks I’ll ever need. What do I do with the rest? They’re filling up again!

I’ve heard a rumor that they will be useful in the future, so best to save them, but…how many do I really need to save? Fifty three stacks probably too much, eh?

If you craft the new vine backpiece it gives you a pet-like item called Mawdrey II (a play on words, Mordremoth + Audrey from Little Shop of Horrors) that you can feed your excess Bloodstone dust to. Will eat up to 200 dusts per day and gives you a gift for every 50 which can be anything from rares and t6 to junk.

Send me your dragonite..oh wait, that’s right, they stupidly made the mats and ascended stuff account bound…

Destroy your spare dust, it’s too easy to replace, keep 10 stacks of each and you should be fine if they decide to make anything else useful with it.

They could have added an NPC to give gold for it. That would solve people’s tendency to find the need to actually exploit in the game entirely.

Oh sweet, thank you. At least it won’t feel like a total waste of deleting them.

But let me clarify – that vine backpiece is alive?

If you have 450 in a crafting profession, make them into Bloodstone Bricks.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Bloodstone_Brick

100 Pile of Bloodstone Dust
2 Obsidian Shard (get these from the Balthazar Karma Vendor at the Balthazar Temple when it’s open)
10 Thermocatalytic Reagent (from the crafting vendor)

You can also do this with Dragonite Ores and Empyreal Fragments too.

edit: I just saw that you don’t need anymore bricks. Oh well, in case anyone else needs to do this, i’ll leave this up.

Yep!

Yep!

Not after I poison that bloodstone dust it eats.
