you cannot use macro to perform tasks that normally require multiple keys/buttons. since openning things is just using leftclick, is leftclick loop really that bad?
One would think that after two years aned will make an ‘open all’ button somewhere in the UI..

This! This forever! It seems like such a small thing for a big QoL improvement.
I’m fully onboard with this, can’t endorse it enough. I’m probably already getting carpal tunnel in my right hand. I’m not eager to accelerate that. I’d actually rather slow it down.
The amount of clicking here is pretty obscene. What’s so hard about giving an option to use-all, or open all bags until you have only one free slot left? This is possibly the single most important QoL feature they could ever add. I really really really hope they do something about that someday, sooner than later.

Entirely agree, and it’s not only with opening bags or activating your essences of luck..
It mosly bothers me when I’m making superior siege in the mystic forge.. I know by heart all ingredients I need, yet I have to double-click all 4 ingredients every time I want to make a superior siege item..

*This game needs something similar to WvW que, where you que ONCE you wait in line, none of this 200th person to start spamming join in sparkfly fen got lucky and gets into sparkfly fen while the other 199 people have been spamming that kittening join in sparkfly fen button for 30 mins.
I should only have to press join in sparkfly fen ONCE and than it puts me into que. I got way better things to be doing than spamming some stupid kitten join in sparkfly fen button.
Why this que system is only in WvW is beyond me.
These developers need to work TOGETHER.
Because ya know what. EVEN the PvP system is just as bad as the PvE system.
It’s like the PvE developer, the PvP developer, and the WvW developer are all on different pages, they don’t even communicate to one another is what it seems like.
Lemme tell ya, WvW developer has it right with the que system, the PvP and PvE developers, they need to take notes…
Implement this que system like now… I really hate spamming that join button, and I’m sure several others hate spamming it too.
I have no problems with event being in open world, I just have problems with spamming that button and people that get lucky and get into the world on first try while I’ve been spamming it for 30 mins. kittening unfair.*

Just use a macro for the clicking, nobody is going to give a kitten , not even Anet. I’ve been using macros for non-combat-related things since launch and never got warned nor banned. I don’t think Anet really cares about macros as long as you don’t use them in combat or at other places that might be unfair.

We have been pleading for this (and more QoL suggestions) since shortly after Head Start.
A suggestion I have is hotkey your left click to a key on your keyboard to take the pressure off of your clicking finger. Also get a touchpad mouse with large right and left click buttons so you can tap different fingers on it to put the pressure of buying large stacks on more than one finger on each hand.

Id love to see an .. “Open all” on stacked items.
Also remove the need to hold the RM button when playing,turning the cam.Combat mode mod removed the need for this but im too much of a kitten to start using it since i read the newer version could get you banned since it’s touching game files.

Also, while we’re at it, how about making the up/down scrolling arrows in the various interfaces (inventory, trading post, etc.) bigger than the head of a pin? And make the scroll bar wider than 1/64th of an inch?
