When mouse over the item, crafting materials in particular or even everything we store in bank, we could see a small number in tooltip showing how many of those we already have stored in bank. Should be very simple to implement and help us to determine whether should we keep the item in inventory and save it for bank.

Especially in maps with tons of loot.

What do you think about it?

So we need just small number counting the number of selected items in bank.

Good idea.

There is one “trick” for crafting mats:
Hero panel > Crafting > Select recipe

For example the Iron Ingot recipe shows on the right side how much Iron Ore you have (Inventory + Bank).

Sure. But for example, tooltip count would help me when buying something at vendors or doing some trade in open world. When buying Obsidian Shard for example, tooltip could tell me how much i already have.

Most of all, its a simple feature to improve quality of life.

I agree, this would be really helpful. It’d be even better if it could include any that are in another characters inventory, but even if it was just the bank and material storage (or even just storage) that’d be helpful.

What would be ideal for me is something that can remind me what’s in my private guild bank, because I keep putting stuff in there for later and then totally forgetting about it. But that’s probably a bit much to ask.

I would love it just for the Karma Account-bound (Chef’s) Ingredients, so I know whether to stock some more, or not since I already have full (or nearly full) capacity.

Good luck.

It should be possible. You can see what’s in other char’s inventory and in any guild bank you’re a leader of if you check gw2efficiency.com so the information is out there and can be pulled up.

Be careful what you ask for
ANet may give it to you.

Seems like there are not many interested.
It would be really helpful feature.

How many times you farm for some materials you need for crafting? Asking yourself how many more i need? Do i have enough? Should i slow down with farming? This tooltip would solve such issues.

It’d be nice to have a tooltip for this, yes, but because it’s not I use gw2efficiency like ‘Just a flesh wound’ suggests.

This would help a lot with crafting and it shouldn’t be hard to implement either, since you can find what you have on the official API which is used by many websites to show exactly how much you have of everything.
