Guild Wars 2

I’ve narrowed my choices for class selection down to ranger, engineer, or possibly thief but I can’t quite decide between the 3.

I am looking for a class that will excel in pve and wvw. I prefer not to be too squishy but I don’t care for heavy armor either.

Sounds like thief then. They are all pretty fun though. That said, there is nothing stopping you from playing all three.

Excel at PvE and WvW? You have two choices then, ranger or thief.

Ranger has an easier time leveling than thief, but thiefs are probably better at 80, just because you aren’t having to do pet management and such.

Of course, a downed ranger still has a lot of damage from the pet.
