Town Clothes Storage
yeah, they had a costume guy in guild wars 1, would like to see them come back.
I’d definitely like that, too. Back when I played WoW, I had difficulty with storing (and inevitably having to delete) fun outfits. It’d be nice to see this game address that problem before it arises.
I don’t want a town clothes storage.
I want a town clothes vendor like the HoM vendor. This way, I don’t have to go through the trouble of moving clothes around. I can just unlock it and get whatever clothes any time I want.
I can customize town clothes freely for all of my characters and buy more town clothes.
On the otherhand, if it was collectibles, I would have to waste a lot of money for all of my alts. I would think and choose which character I favor the most and then realize it is just a waste of money.
4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant
The Secret World has a good way of storing clothing, you just select the clothing you want to wear from a dropdown, once you purchase the clothing, any items you have appear in said dropdown, you don’t need to worry about physically storing it anywhere.
For example for your shirt slot you have a list of shirts to select from. This would work for town clothing. Or for shoes, choose from your bunny slippers, sneakers, or boots, etc, all from a dropdown, no need to go get the item out of a bank or carry it around.
For Guild Wars 2, we should just need to get the item once, and if it is account bound have that accessible to any character on that account from a town clothing manager – this way we don’t need to get extra free hats for alts that junk up our space.
Where do you get new town clothes?
Where do you get new town clothes?
You buy them with gems. I would really love a costume keeper like in GW1
50/50 GWAMM x3
I quit how I want
Any of the above solutions would be greatly better than current.
I wholeheartedly agree. But if they made any of these options, it might prevent us from buying more storage panels. XD (Not really. We’re all buying those anyways, but Im sure thats a thought as to why we don’t have clothes storage yet!)
OR even an option to pick back up a purchased item – I know people who accidentally deleted things, to find out they have to RE-PURCHASE them. That sucks.
