Guild Wars 2

So I spent over 4k gems on town clothes before patch. Now they are all gone. I checked in the wardrobe and none of them are in it. I checked under all the options headgear and so on. When i go to outfits it says you have no items to equip. I’ve also checked under equipment.
Is this a bug or is there another way to equip town clothes?
I had the items equipped on my character already when the update hit. Did this cause the bug?

You need to go and speak to a black lion armorsmith to get your clothes converted to tonics, there’s one by the trading post in divinities reach
