Hey there guys,

I know there are a couple of thread already out there, but I am confused so maybe someone can answer my question…

I have several characters in “mix n match” town clothing.
1. I will attach some pictures below, so maybe you guys can tell me what will happen to these “combos”? Will they simply not work after the patch?

2. I read that I can get a refund on them, but I am debating on whether or not I should do that. Would I be eligible and for what items?

3. Also there are two types of witch’s hats, gw2 hat and gw2 t-shirt … what will happen to those? Will they become tonics?

Sorry for asking a billion questions at once …

If u tend to be a practical person, it’s very easy. Ask yourself this:
1. Do i still like this?
2. Do i use this?
3. How much time (/year) do i use this?

You will most likely answer yourself the question. Never put others to take decisions for u because u risk of feeling disappointing after.

1. Of course I still like ’em.
2. I will occasionally use these after the patch goes live since you can wear town clothes in combat.

Yeah I have seen this info.

I can get a refund if I am not happy with the way the item functions or I have duplicates.

Still this half answers my 2. question, maybe a dev could comment on 1. and 3.?

I can answer 1. as well, to some extent.

1. “Mixing and matching” of town clothes will no longer be possible, as they will be collapsed into either a single “outfit” item for the “outfit” slot, or a tonic that changes your appearance.
It is not clear what will happen to the different headgear; they could be made into tonics that only alter the character’s head, or they could be made in to “regular” headgear skins to be transmuted onto armor.
One thing to bear in mind is that you cannot have two tonic effects active at once, nor two outfits, but it will be possible to have one tonic and one outfit active at the same time. It remains to be seen how these would interact.

I wouldn’t say anytime, but rather 2-6 hours from now (although it could still be a little longer, even).
