Toypocalypse: Love, Hate, Despawning?
Not that i have seen beyond those being destroyed. Maybe there is a limit on what can be built and new toys cause old ones to despawn?

The attacking toys damage the siege machinery you’ve built. You can mouse over each siege to see its health bar. An upgrade also fully heals it. If you don’t save it from the toys, eventually they destroy it.
What Donari said. The walls and siege weapons take damage as they get hit by the waves. You can repair them when there’s a break in the action, or just build new ones.
I’m almost 100% certain that there is a limit to how much stuff you can put down, but by that point you’ve won anyway. You only notice it when all 5 players are really saturating the map.
I have seen one of my catapults despawn near the end of the game with nothing anywhere near it. No idea if the siege has timers or is overwritten by new siege, but I am fairly confident that it does not need to be damaged to disappear.
“There is a cap on how many constructions can be placed. Once that cap is reached, any new construction placed will delete the oldest one. The exact cap is not know, but it seems to be around 50-60 constructions.”
From the GW2 wiki’s Toypocalypse page. So when you’re reaching the limit of constructions, consider upgrading your defenses instead of building new ones or waiting for them to get destroyed.
That explains a lot. We had a great circle going earlier today when a guy decided to go off on his own and build everything he could off near the spawn location, while at the same time our defenses were vanishing a lot faster than it seemed possible.
