Players should be put into a party as they enter Toypocalypse.

This would solve two issues.

1) Friends could play together and work to achieve goals.

2) Chat messages in map chat or say would not be suppressed.

Currently groups are unable to properly communicate and coordinate defensive measures due to chat suppression.

It’s the same with a lot of the Wintersday games. Was playing with a friend earlier. Geting into the same Toypocalypse game took a few tries. Also did a few games of Snowball Mayhem, after we got into the same game when it reet for the next round it was random for teams. When somebody joins shouldn’t it do for all party members in Divinity Reach the countdown like it does for dungeons and personal story for players in the same map?
Then teams should keep parties together, I’d understand if a team was too big and one of a group was the one to get switched for that game but think by default parties should be together. If your in a party with friends, wanting to play GW2 with them. If multiple members of the same party join one of the instances it is highly likely they are playing together and wish to participate in the same instance.

The devs have commented on this before, letting players enter as a group breaks things in PvP and they’ve yet to find a way to fix it

You’re still on a team, and team chat works, as does say chat. I’ve had many conversations in say chat in toypocalypse

So how come you can have premade groups in pvp but not these modes based on pvp?
