So I survived 30 rounds, got the achievement for it, and it did not count towards the Meta achievement. Do I have to complete 30×30 rounds for it to count?

Repeatable achievements are not a part of the meta. They’re simply a bonus for playing.

So therefore the only way to complete that meta achievement would be “Ringing the right notes” . Well forgetaboutit.

Come on, it’s not THAT bad you need 500 notes, until Jan 13th. If you’re rally bad at it (or your connection is, trying bell choir with lag is a veritable shot in the dark…), try:
- using only the first 4 notes, instead of all the keys
- taking the middle part, it seems easier than the other two, usually.
- just be stubborn and practice a bit (I remember it being really hard for me at the beginning, on the first year, I just kept at it and know I’m doing ok)

I think the 150 repeats of the snowball mayhem are waaay worse than the 500 notes, if only because it’ll take ages to complete.
