The Black Lion Trading Post is extremely slow. Windows take a while to load and cycle for at least 1-2 seconds. When you click to sell an item there is a delayed response time after. The Constant errors popup saying you have to wait to sell more items.
Please revamp and optimize the trading post system in this game.

There are multiple posts about this issue that has been ongoing for some time now. When are the devs going to address this problem as a real issue?

This is because the TP is actually separated from the main game, think of it as a web plugin, thus is slow as kitten. Why was the decision of designing it this way taken? Nobody knows…

It has been failing quite a bit of late and the latency has been increasing. Since I travel this has been from multiple locations as well so less likely of a localized issue. Not game breaking but something to note.

@OP: create a support ticket (following the link at the top left) to work with Customer Service; they should be able to help you.

Um, on the contrary, it’s been discussed:

  • Problems with the TP won’t affect the regular game.
  • The TP has the same needs as a scaled-down browser: load tons of data, display it, allow people to change a few values via ‘forms’.

The original incarnation used a bloated and (let’s call it) challenging browser; the current version is much more robust.

Issues do pop up, but they tend to be isolated to small fractions of the community and often easily resolved by clearing the cache, restarting the game, or repairing the .DAT file. Customer service typically has a lot of success assisting those who requested help via a support ticket.
