Tried making some money by crafting an item only 1 of which was listed on TP and was listed for 6g. Made the item, posted for 5g+, in the next 2 days i see the price drop to 3 gold because 20 others decided t make it… (also, re listing it continuously would make me lose more money than i could possibly make)
Anyone else hate the cross-server TP?

No. Think of all the advantages of a global economy as opposed to a local one.

Harder to monopolize. Harder to manipulate. Harder to speculate.

Harder to make any profit with crafting/reselling.
Currently, the only types of people who are rich are ones that:
1) Got lucky with precursor
2) Have a tonn of time to farm things
3) Have so much gold already that they can still monopolize some of the market (precursors)

Eeeer…

Of course it’s harder to make profit with reselling. That, by definition, is monopolizing/manipulating/speculating that harms a majority of the game population by driving up prices of basic goods. That’s a GOOD thing.

Your points 1, and 2, yes. But I have no idea what it has anything to do with the global/local nature of the BLT. And 3, the global economy prevents this type of behavior.

Also, you don’t make a profit crafting because the entry barrier to crafting is so low. Practically everyone crafts, and not everything you craft is desirable. Hence why you won’t (and shouldn’t) earn a profit from crafting.

So in essence, you want maximum rewards for minimum effort?

Flipping items is harder to do, but still not impossible. Do your research, look at a variety of items. You can still flip items for a profit.

Of course, you can always play the game. Do dungeons, complete maps, grind. etc…That will give you a steady income stream.
