If I put buy price in auction first, and then others put their buy price on top of me. who is getting products first ?
I think its the last guy who put the buy price. but it isnt sometimes. So is it random ?

if they put a higher buy order (Even 1 copper over your bid) their order gets filled first.
If they put an order for the same amount as you, its first in first out, so if they put the order after you, you will get it first.

It’s not an auction house, its a trading post.

What this means is you place a buy order for 5 silver, then someone else places one for 5s01c

His order will fill first, always, because his is the highest Buy Offer, then you, assuming someone else doesn’t also place one above you.
This happens a lot, the TP is global across the entire game (for major regions at least)
It’s best not to micromanage your sell/buy order too much.

Prices fluctuate, moving up and down regularly, so if you list something and then see a bunch of others listed below you/above you that doesn’t mean you’ll never buy/sell, it just means the price is trending up/down and you’re priced too high/low (at that moment)
If you wait often the prices will change again and yours will sell.

I’ve had things take days/weeks to sell because they were pricier/more slow moving items

I have put buy order for 1 silver 500 items to buy. then others came and put buy order on me and now buy order for 1 silver is 4500
The one who is getting items is not me who put the buy order first.
So who is getting items in that 1 silver buy order ? the last one ?

If you put in an buy order and someone else puts in a higher buy order, even if it’s only one copper, the higher buy order is filled first.

If you put in a buy order and someone else puts down an identical buy order, yours gets filled first.

Be careful what you ask for
ANet may give it to you.

the buy orders on the item screen dont update in real time, so most likely, you opened the screen, saw that 1s would be the highest bid, then someone else posted 4k orders and then you placed your order, which makes you 2nd in line.
