Trading post sky-rocketing
You’re not doing it right, you’re supposed to mention whichever item you bought in mass. How are you ever going to profit from this otherwise?
Speaking of which I hear platinum is a solid investment nowadays.
I just checked. Copper ore was 63c and now it’s 61c. (Since OP didn’t say what was skyrocketing, I’m free to assume he meant any item on the trading post I wish to check).

Yes, trading post is sky-rocketing the prices of some items…
I think arena net should do something about that..
This is getting out of control and it’s crazy..
People who play Trading post more then actual game, ruin the gaming experience.
Trading was never that horrible as it is in GW2.I hope we can have some changes to that. Ty ArenaNet.
What changes would you propose? Anet doesn’t do anything with TP prices, those are controlled purely by the players. (willingness to buy and sell). Playing the trading post actually serves a good purpose. It helps take gold out of the economy. Each transaction those players makes, takes 15% out. The gold that people spend on the TP isn’t going away, it goes to other players (minus 15%). So its actually helping to distribute wealth, as well as keep inflation from causing everything to spiral out of control, and cause John Smith to hurt baby quaggens.
THINK OF THE QUAGGENS!!!!
Right now, people are buying up a lot of t6 mats to create new ascended armor for their Revanents, and the new legendaries coming out with the expansion. However, the market can, and will stabalize as it always does, and you’ll see them go back down to an equalibrium.

I bolded the word “some” as it is key to your point. While maybe not the most eloquently put statement, the sentiment behind it is partialy correct. Players who have access to higher returns will determine prices as long as their demand outweighs the supply. This is not limited to tp players alone and yes it will effect others going for such items.
But anywho, whether or not anything should be done about it…..I’m going to leave that bit alone.
