I want to give my legendary to an alt. If I tranmutate it to a white and make it account bound, and then give it to an alt and use a tranmutation splitter, could the alt keep it and still get legendary stats back?

Im curious about this aswell since the Transmutation Splitter states that “Will return the original appearance item and stats item from an existing transmuted item. All items will remain soulbound”.

Can anyone shed some light on this please ?

Yup done it for my Bolt.

Worked for my Twilight. I can select stats on the Twilight I got from the splitter and by the looks of it I can still make Eternity.

Un-transmuting Legendaries is pretty much what the splitter was made for.
