I seriously doubt it since it would take away from the money making scheme in place.

lol…the money making scheme…you make that sound so ominous. WoW charges for a server transfer and they charge a monthly fee as well. Most games charge for server transfers.
When they do (and have done) free server transfers it’s to low population servers only. Don’t think you’ll get a free ride into Blackgate or Tarnished Coast.
If you really want to, you can delete all your characters to transfer for free.
We already had months of free transfers at launch. It was horrible.
