I really want to get into one of the servers that is full because all my friends are there. How do I transfer into a full server?

You wait until it’s not full anymore, it does change since fullness is based on wvw population mostly. Another thing you could do is both swap to a server that’s almost full tho.

ps. just sitting here waiting for a mod to move this to “players helping players”

Is there a way to keep me updated on the server’s fullness? so i can transfer immediately when its not full

I dont really want my friends to transfer out of that server since it will be a waste of money for them.

No, it’s a first come, first serve if/when it becomes available. But since it is due to WvW population now, that won’t change very often. You could check daily (mostly a waste a time) or weekly to see if there is room.

Edit: If you are just wanting to PvE with your friends, all servers are the same for PvE. Doesn’t matter which one everyone is from. Servers only matter for WvW access.

You can check the server’s status weekly; they don’t change very often, as they are based on WvW population. This last WvW update patch is the first time they’ve changed in ages; ever since the population determination was changed to be based on WvW.

Do be aware: You don’t need to be on the same server to play with friends, except for in WvW; only the same region (NA or EU).
